Question:

Evaluate:

${ }^{9} \mathrm{P}_{0}$

Solution:

To find: the value of ${ }^{9} \mathrm{P}_{0}$

Formula Used:

Total number of ways in which $\mathrm{n}$ objects can be arranged in $\mathrm{r}$ places (Such that no object is replaced) is given by,

${ }_{n} P_{r}=\frac{n !}{(n-r) !}$

Therefore,

${ }_{9} \mathrm{P}_{0}=\frac{9 !}{(9-0) !}$

${ }^{9} \mathrm{P}_{0}=1$

Thus, the value of ${ }^{9} \mathrm{P}_{0}$ is 1 .
