The maximum acceleration for car is given by,
$a=\mu g=1 \times 10=10 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{s}^{2}$
$u=0$
$s=500 \mathrm{~m}$
.$s=u t+\frac{1}{2} a t^{2}$
$t=10 \mathrm{sec}$
