Solve the following

Question:

Solve:

$3 x+\frac{2}{3}=2 x+1$

Solution:

$3 x+\frac{2}{3}=2 x+1$

$\Rightarrow 3 x-2 x=1-\frac{2}{3}$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{1}-\frac{2}{3}$         (L.C.M. of 1 and 3 is 3 )      $\Rightarrow x=\frac{3-2}{3}$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{3}$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{3}$

$\therefore x=\frac{1}{3}$
