Question:

If $\frac{2}{5} x-2=5-\frac{3}{5} x$, then $x=--$

Solution:

7

Given,   $\frac{2}{5} x-2=5-\frac{3}{5} x$

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{2 x}{5}+\frac{3 x}{5}=5+2\left[\right.$ transposing $-\frac{3 x}{5}$ to LHS and $-2$ to RHS $]$

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{5 x}{5}=7$

$\Rightarrow$ $x=7$

Hence, the value of $x$ is 7 .
