Solution:
(i) Opposite sides are equal in a parallelogram.
$\therefore 3 \mathrm{y}-1=26$
$3 \mathrm{y}=27$
$\mathrm{y}=9$
Similarly, $3 \mathrm{x}=18$
x = 6
(ii)
Diagonals bisect each other in a parallelogram.
$\therefore \mathrm{y}-7=20$
$\mathrm{y}=27$
$\mathrm{x}-\mathrm{y}=16$
$\mathrm{x}-27=16$
$\mathrm{x}=43$
