If tan (x + 30°) = 1 then find the value of x.

Question:

If tan (x + 30°) = 1 then find the value of x.

Solution:

As we know that,

$\tan 45^{\circ}=1$

Thus,

if $\tan \left(x+30^{\circ}\right)=1$

$\Rightarrow x+30^{\circ}=45^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow x=45^{\circ}-30^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow x=15^{\circ}$

Hence, the value of $x$ is $15^{\circ}$.
