Question:
Find the principal value of each of the following :
$\operatorname{cosec}\left(\sin ^{-1} x+\cos ^{-1} x\right)$
Solution:
$\operatorname{cosec}\left(\sin ^{-1} x+\cos ^{-1} x\right)=\operatorname{cosec} \frac{\pi}{2}\left[\right.$ Formula: $\left.\sin ^{-1} x+\cos ^{-1} x=\frac{\pi}{2}\right]$
Putting the value of $\operatorname{cosec} \frac{\pi}{2}$
$=1$
