$=\left(2 \mathrm{x}^{2}+1\right)^{2}-(2 \mathrm{x})^{2}$

$=\left[\left(2 \mathrm{x}^{2}+1\right)-2 \mathrm{x}\right]\left[\left(2 \mathrm{x}^{2}+1\right)+2 \mathrm{x}\right]$
