Question:
Evaluate
$\lim _{x \rightarrow 1}\left(6 x^{2}-4 x+3\right)$
Solution:
To evaluate:
$\lim _{x \rightarrow 1}\left(x^{2}-4 x+3\right)$
Formula used: We have,
$\lim _{x \rightarrow a} f(x)=f(a)$
As $x \rightarrow 1$, we have
$\lim _{x \rightarrow 1}\left(x^{2}-4 x+3\right)=1^{2}-4(1)+3$
Thus, the value of $\lim _{x \rightarrow 1}\left(x^{2}-4 x+3\right)$ is 0 .
