Homogeneous mixture

They contain physically distinct parts and have non-uniform compositions. Mixtures of sodium chloride and iron fillings, salt and sulphur, and oil and water are examples of heterogeneous mixtures. Suspensions and colloids are also heterogeneous mixtures.
