NEET 2024 Exam Analysis Highlights

NEET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

The NEET 2024 question paper has four parts: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Each part had 50 questions divided into two parts. The structure of the NEET 2024 question paper was as follows:

NEET 2024 Answer Key: NTA is about to release the provisional answer key for NEET 2024 in the first week of June 2024. After the release of the answer key,  you will be able to submit challenges against the NEET 2024 answer keys within the stipulated time. 

NEET 2024 Result Date: The NEET 2024 Result will be declared on June 14, 2024. NTA will announce the result for NEET 2024 along with NEET cut off post which the process for NEET 2024 counselling will be started after that.

NEET 2024 Counselling: The counselling for NEET 2024 is about to start from the third week of July 2024. The entire counselling process will take time of three to four months.  

NEET UG 2024 Difficulty Level

The overall difficulty level of NEET 2024 is perceived to be moderate to difficult. Most of the candidates were unhappy with the Physics because the questions were highly complex including mostly numeric problems. Experts also rated the NEET exam moderately difficult. • Exam was of easy difficulty level.

NEET UG 2024 Paper Analysis Subject Wise Difficulty Level

- "The overall difficulty of NEET 2024 is Moderate to difficult, although some questions were straightforward, others required a deeper understanding of concepts and the ability to apply knowledge analytically", 

- "This year's paper was easy and a bit lengthy as compared to last year's chemistry exam. Physical chemistry was a little bit toughest subject, and organic and inorganic chemistry was little easy".

- "Overall, the NEET exam was easy to moderate. Physical chemistry was one of the toughest parts.

NEET Biology Paper Analysis 2024

The NEET Exam 2024's simplest subjects were biology, chemistry, and physics. Most of the questions only dealt with material from the NCERT curriculum. The NEET UG exam 2024's highest weighted chapters were anatomy and morphology. Eight questions in all covering the two themes. The number of questions from the different themes is listed in the list below. 

• Respiration in Plants – 3 questions

• Biomolecule – 3 questions

• Cell – 2 questions

• Morphology – 4 questions

• Photosynthesis – 2 questions

• Anatomy of Flowering plants – 4 questions

NEET 2024 Physics Paper Analysis

Here’s the detailed analysis of the Physics section of the NEET 2024 question paper and it  includes the difficulty level of questions and the topic-wise number of questions asked in the exam.

• Difficulty Level: Moderate to Difficult

• Percentage of Numerical Questions: 70-80%

• Questions were from the prescribed syllabus.

• Questions were based on the NCERT books.
