JEE Mains & AdvancedThe JEE Main 2025 exams will take place in two sessions in 2025. The National Test Agency (NTA) has already released provisional dates for various important events related to the exams. This includes the release of the application form, starting the registration process, exam dates, and result declaration guidelines. Students are eager to know these dates to plan their preparation and make necessary adjustments to their schedules. JEE Main is a highly competitive exam, and every aspiring engineering student dreams of doing well and getting admission to prestigious institutions like IITs, IIITs, and NITs. These institutes are supported by both the Central Government and State Government. They have highly experienced professors and also focus on the overall development of students, not just academics.
JEE Main 2025 Application Form
- Application form to be filled out online. There are no offline resources to fill out the application form. The process will start unanimously for Sessions 1 and - January 22 and January 31 & Session 2 April 2025 accordingly.
- The application form should be accompanied by a passport-size photograph, and the signature, It should be the same as presented at the time of the exam. Both things should be scanned and attached to the application form.
- Application form for session 1 which is to be held in January 2025 will be released and the registration process will start from the 2nd week of November 2024, Application forms for session 2 are yet to be released and the registration process will begin accordingly.
- The whole process of registration includes filling out the application form, uploading images, payment of application fees, and printing the application.
- Students should carry an Aadhar card with them as their id proof.
- Students can make online payments of application fees through debit cards, credit cards, and net banking. Admission will be provided solely to those who have filled out the application form.

JEE Main Application Fee 2025
- The application fee will be nonrefundable
- Application fees can be paid online through Debit, Credit cards, or Net banking, also students can pay through the e-challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI bank.
- Fees paid through DD, money order IPO, or any other mode, other than those prescribed above are unacceptable.

JEE Main Application Correction Window
Students can modify or correct the details filled in in the application form during the correction period given by the respective authority. Students can modify a few details in the application. The application cannot be modified after the last date. Correction or modification can be done only through a portal through an online process through login details on the website. Students have to pay a nominal amount of fees for modification or correction. Fees will be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking,e-challan.

Candidates who have qualified for the senior secondary examination conducted by NIOS with at least 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for JEE Main 2023. Candidates who have studied less than 5 subjects in their qualifying exam are not eligible. |
Equivalent Examination Outside India |
Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or have not cleared the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Central/State Board of India need to provide a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) stating that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination. |
Sections, Subjects included, and Marking pattern of JEE Mains
JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 - Paper 1
Mode of Exam: It is a computer-based exam with 3 hours in duration. A person with a disability is given one hour extra.
Subjects: There are three sections in the exam Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
Total Number of Questions: Total number of 20 multiple choice questions and 10 numerical questions out of which 5 questions are to be solved.
Type of Questions: There are two types of questions one Multiple Choice Question(MCQ) and the other are numerical question that is to be solved and the answer is to be entered.
Marking Scheme: 4 marks are given for every correct answer and a negative marking is given for the incorrect answer.
Maximum Marks: The maximum mark a candidate can score is 300.
Medium of Paper: The exam can be written by the candidate in 13 languages namely, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
